SHARE YOUR KINGSTON RIVERSIDE PHOTOS

This summer, we’re celebrating the lifeblood of Kingston, the River Thames. Rich in history, our stunning stretch of riverside makes the town what it is, so what better way to celebrate it than to capture unique perspectives of it through photography.

We’ve teamed up with Jessops Kingston to launch a photo competition and are inviting all non-professional photographers to share their images of the town’s beautiful riverside. Shortlisted entries will then be used to create a photography exhibition, on display in Kingston town centre in September, plus, we have some fantastic prizes up for grabs for the overall winner and two runners up.

The Go With The Flow Photo Competition is open to non-professional photographers of all ages. We’re simply asking entrants to share images of what they love about the river, whether that be ecological, sporting activity, cultural and community events, its landscape or anything else that inspires you.

The overall winner will receive a Fujifilm X-T100 Camera complete with a XC15-45mm lens, 16GB SD Card, UV Lens Filter, Manfrotto Compact Tripod and a shoulder bag to carry it all, plus a one-day Photography Course at Jessops Kingston.

Second place will receive a Canon CP1300 Photo Printer complete with a pack of printer paper, and third place will receive a Fuji Instax Mini 9 Instant Camera with a 20 pack of film, camera case, carry strap and Instax album.

So what are you waiting for? Get out, get snapping, and capture our beautiful river.
