A time to fight. Living and Remembering WWII

Home » What's On » A time to fight. Living and Remembering WWII

19th July to 21st September

Location: Kingston Museum

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings in June 2019, photographer and writer Robert D. Anderson illustrates the passing of 75 years with photographs and stories of WWII veterans and Living History actors.

The stories of their war experiences come to life through portraits and memories captured in quiet mutual contemplation using both video and photography.

From those who landed on the beaches to the men, women and children who fought on the Home Front - Robert has captured a time when the world was gripped by war in a way that is revealing and deeply moving.

The home of Kingston's history.
