This half term, The Bentall Centre will be transforming into a Halloween spectacular, with spooky crafts, sticky treats and ghoulish fun from Thursday 25 October to Sunday 28 October.
On Trembling Thursday, keep your eyes peeled for mini monsters roaming the centre as face painters are there from 12noon until 6pm to transform little shoppers into their favourite Halloween characters – from monsters and witches, to spiders and Frankenstein!
From 11.30am to 5.30pm on Freaky Friday, The Bentall Centre is hosting a Day of the Dead event, where visitors can be immortalised in a themed caricature! Inspired by the Mexican festival’s famous brightly painted skulls and hand-drawn by one of the UK’s leading caricaturists, this will be a memorable keepsake for all the family!
On Scary Saturday from 11am to 4pm, hungry monsters can fill their tummies as they make some spooky treats! Children will have a blast as they create some yummy trick or treat sweets, from vampire cookies to chocolate spiders.
Little witches and wizards will not want to miss Spellbinding Sunday from 11am to 4pm, which is all about potion making and spell casting! Children can make some spooky recipes from range of different spells and ingredients, from glitter and food colouring, to creepy crawlies and sand. Once the potion has been created, it will be bottled up and labelled and given its unique name!
