Need to escape the mad Christmas rush?
Come on down to Kingston Museum on Saturday 8 December at 12pm, take part in their free Scavenger Hunt, learn how to join Kingston Museum's Young People's Board and get stuck in with an exciting new heritage film-making project.
Delve deep into our archives and collections to uncover some of our most fascinating treasures and help us to unravel their stories. Your research and work, overseen by the curators and museum staff, will culminate in a short film that will feature on the museum's website. The project will run from January and aims to be completed by Spring 2019, launching alongside the annual Eadweard Muybridge Festival.
Meet at Kingston Museum at 12pm. The Scavenger Hunt will end at 1.30pm. The event is free, but booking by filling out this short registration form is necessary.
If you have any other questions please contact Emily Grassi at email@example.com or phone 020 8547 6440 and leave a message.
The board, consisting of young people aged 18-30, offers its members an opportunity to have an impact on their local museum, alongside picking up critical sector skills such as collection management, archiving, event planning and film making. Meetings are held monthly.
