A musical tribute to the Canadian soldiers who served their King and Country, to mark the 100th Anniversary of the end of the Great War. The concert programme will include popular war-time music and songs and also the Lacrimosa from the Mozart Requiem. 

Following their successful visit to Kingston and concert with us in 2015, Kingston Choral Society joins forces again with North Lakeshore Chorus from Canada for this concert. Their conductor and many of their singers belong to Kingston Choral Society, based in Kingston, Ontario. 

Their visit to Kingston and performance at All Saints Church is part of a 16-day European Tour travelling to England, France, Belgium, Germany and Scotland visiting sites and memorials of significance to Canadian soldiers who fought from 1914-1918. The touring 40-voice choir will be performing at a many of the venues in their itinerary to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the Great War.

All Saints in Kingston is the focal point of the town.  Since the 9th century, there has been a church on this site, when it was originally part of the Saxon royal estate.
