3rd July to 5th July

INTERNATIONAL YOUTH ARTS FESTIVAL: DIGIFEST will celebrate the creative spirit of young people throughout this period of lockdown which has affected so many young people in different countries.

The National Youth Theatre of Kenya will present elements of their upcoming new musical Matumaini, a heartwarming story set in the slums of Nairobi.

The City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong will inspire us with scenes from their brilliant The Bug Symphony which has toured the globe and will give us an insight to the wonders of their design.

Creative Youth will give you a taste of their young talent rehearsing  for their upcoming production of the musical favourite Oliver.

Fringe Programme
For our Fringe Programme we have returning IYAF favourites Bad Clowns and Rendered Retina with their award-winning shows.

We will be introducing new companies to the festival: Sisterton Foods is a beautiful lyrical, spoken word piece of theatre on mental health by Full Pelt Theatre and Fires Our Shoes Made by Pound Of Flesh will present a phenomenal piece of gig theatre, partnered with music, animation and spoken word.

We have a lockdown sensation of dazzling circus acts from Cirque de Chennai and a specially commissioned new piece of street dance called My Lockdown by Vital Signz Dance.

Our eclectic music programme includes Pianwoo, The Bolders, Izzy Adams and Myrah Freeman.

Panel Discussions
Alongside our performance programme, there will be opportunities to take part in live workshops and events.
